Configuring Marketing Spend

Marketing Spend refers to the amount you assign to every channel your leads generate from. LeadCenter allows you to add and categorize the amount by source and date. This will give you a clear view of the funds distributed across various sources and allow you to make informed decisions.

Adding Marketing Spend

Follow the steps given below to add Marketing Spend for the required channel/source:

  1. Log in to LeadCenter.ai.
  2. Expand the left navigation panel, click the Marketing dropdown, and select Marketing Spend.
  3. You’ll be directed to the Marketing Spend main page.
  4. Click on the Add New Spend button on the top right.
  5. A modal will open prompting you to fill in the following information:
    • Source/Channel*: Select the source or the channel for which you’re adding the marketing spend.
    • Campaign Name: Write the name of the campaign.
    • Date*: Select the required date.
    • Amount*: Set the required amount.
    • Notes: Write additional information, if any.
  6. Click Save Changes to proceed with adding a Marketing Spend or Cancel to go back.

Please note that the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Drop-down menus

In addition to adding marketing spend, you can use the drop-down menus on top to further define your marketing spend purposes. These drop-downs are:

  • Source/Channel: Click on this drop-down to select the source for which you're adding marketing spend.
  • Category: Click on this drop-down to select a category for marketing spend.
  • Spend Year: Use this drop-down for selecting the required year.
  • Spend Month: Use this drop-down for selecting the required month.

Adding a new category

To add a new marketing spend category, follow the steps given below:

  1. Log into your LeadCenter account.
  2. Expand the left side navigation panel, click on your name, and select Setup from the options.
  3. Under Basic Settings tab, navigate to Marketing Spend Categories.
  4. Click on the Add Spend Category button in the top right corner.
  5. Write the category name in the Name field.
  6. Click Save to confirm or Cancel to go back.
