How to Customize your Home Page with Widgets
In this guide, you’ll learn how to personalize your LeadCenter.ai home page using the new Widgets feature. Widgets give you full control over what information appears on your dashboard, allowing you to focus on the data and metrics that matter most to you, whether that’s KPIs, appointments, tasks, or events.
Step 1: Access the Customization Menu
- Log in to your LeadCenter.ai account.
- From either the Sales Dashboard or the Marketing Dashboard, click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of your home page.
- Select Customize Layout from the dropdown menu.
This opens the Customize Dashboard screen.
Step 2: Understand the Dashboard Layout
The home page is divided into three main containers:
- Top Container – displays your primary widgets.
- Bottom Left Container – can be used for performance or activity widgets.
- Bottom Right Container – often used for KPIs or secondary metrics.
You can move widgets between these containers or add new ones based on your preferences.
Step 3: Add or Remove Widgets
To tailor your dashboard:
- Remove widgets you don’t need by clicking the “X” icon on them.
- Add new widgets from the widget library.
For example:
- If you prefer focusing on appointments and tasks, remove the KPI widgets from the top section.
- Then, add widgets for Appointments, Tasks, and Events.
- You can also include Latest Contacts for a quick view of recent client interactions.
Step 4: Reorder Widgets
Drag and drop widgets to arrange them in the order you prefer.
For instance:
- Appointments
- Tasks
- Events
- Activities on the right side
- KPIs such as Current AUM, Revenue Year-to-Date, and Insurance Year-to-Date
This setup helps you focus on your active priorities while keeping key metrics visible.
Step 5: Save Your Custom Layout
After arranging your widgets, click Save.
Your new layout will automatically load every time you access LeadCenter. The widgets you removed will no longer appear on your dashboard.
Step 6: Unified Home Page Experience
With the introduction of the Widgets feature, LeadCenter now uses a unified home page for both the Sales Dashboard and Marketing Dashboard.
This means any layout changes you make will apply across both dashboards, keeping your experience consistent.
