How to Set & Track Annual Marketing Goals

Setting Up Marketing Goals in LeadCenter

In LeadCenter, you can set marketing goals tied to key performance indicators (KPIs). These goals are automatically reflected in the executive dashboards and reporting features within the platform.

For example, go to the Reporting section in LeadCenter and open the Executive Dashboard category, either for the full year or year to date.

In this case, open the Year-to-Date Dashboard. In the report, you'll see two columns:

  • One showing the goals that were set.
  • Another showing the percentage of attainment.

This lets you easily track progress throughout the year. This applies to leads, appointments, production, and many other key components.

For example, if you open the Executive Dashboard – Per Year report, you'll see the goals set for the previous year, along with the percentage of goal attainment.

Once goals are set in LeadCenter, they automatically appear in reporting. The system also calculates the percentage of attainment for you so you can track your progress without any manual effort.


How to Set Up Marketing Goals

To set up marketing goals:

  • Go to the Marketing Dashboard.
  • Click on Marketing Goals.
  • Define your annual performance targets.

You'll see a list of goals by year, KPI, and value. You can edit existing goals or click Add Goal to create a new one.

Example:

  • Click Add Goal.
  • Select New Leads as the KPI.
  • Choose the target year (for example, 2025).
  • Enter the goal value — say, 5,000 leads.
  • Click Save.

Now, the 2025 goal for 5,000 new leads is added. This will automatically appear in the Executive Dashboard, and progress will be tracked throughout the year across a predefined list of KPIs.


Key KPIs You Can Track

You can track KPIs such as:

  • Total Issued Assets
  • New Leads
  • MYGA Issued
  • Marketing Spend
  • Life Insurance Issued
  • Lead-to-First Appointment Conversion
  • Closing Ratio
  • Became Client Metrics
  • Head of Household Conversions
  • AUM Issued
  • Annuities Issued
  • First Appointment Booked and Kept Ratios
