Efficient Note-Taking with AI Speech to Text
In this guide, you’ll learn how to use the Record and Transcribe feature in LeadCenter.ai to quickly capture meeting notes or client updates by voice. This feature automatically converts your speech into text and saves it directly as a note under the contact record, saving time and improving accuracy.
Step 1: Open a Contact Record
- Log in to your LeadCenter.ai account.
- From the Sales Pipeline or Contacts Dashboard, open the contact whose record you’d like to update.
Step 2: Add a New Note
- Inside the contact record, click Add Note.
- In the note window, click Record and Transcribe to start recording your voice.
Step 3: Record the Note
Begin speaking naturally and describe any relevant details about the contact, meeting, or follow-up.
For example:
“Household members, ages are 69 and 71. Both are retired. One recently retired and has an old 401(k) with a $1 million portfolio. They also have around $150,000 in the bank and three rental properties. They’re seeking help with retirement and estate planning.”
When finished, click Stop Transcription.
Step 4: Automatic AI Transcription
Within seconds, the system automatically converts your voice recording into text.
The transcription appears instantly and can be reviewed before saving.
Step 5: Save the Note
Once you’re satisfied with the transcription:
- Click Save.
- The note will now appear under the Notes section of the contact’s profile.
You can return to this note anytime to review or edit it.
