LeadCenter.AI Lead Management Software is built with standard fields for each lead. If you would like to add more information about the lead, you can create custom fields that can be filled manually by an Agent. To create new custom fields or update existing custom fields, follow the steps below:

1- Open the dashboard on LeadCenter.AI and click on Setup at the bottom of the left menu.

Setup Button

2-  Click on Leads to open the lead settings menu, then click on Custom Fields.

3- This will open the Custom Fields Designer.

The Custom Field Designer can be used to:

1- Design the page that users will use to enter new data.
2- Add and customize the custom fields.

Designing the Custom Fields Page

To design a user-friendly custom page, you can:

– Group common fields together in a Custom Field Group
– Change each group name
– Add rows under each group
– Add columns to each group
– Add custom fields to rows and columns
In the example below, we will walk through the steps to design a custom fields page

1- To Change a group name, click on the pen button at the top right corner of the custom field group box

2- This will open the Edit Group Details dialog box

3- Enter a new Group name in the Title text box. For example Spouse Information

4- Now we will add a new row. In this row, we will add two columns for the Spouse First Name and Last Name. Click on + Add New Row.

5- Select 2 Columns from the Add New Row dialog box.
6- Click Add Row Button

This will create a row with two columns. Each column can hold one custom field.

7- The next step is to change the custom field label, select a data type for the custom field and customize its properties. To do this click on the pen button next to the custom field

8- This will open the Edit Field Details dialog box. In the Basic Details tab, you can edit the field Type, Label, Help Text, Placeholder Text, and Read-Only setting. In the Validation Rules tab, you can restrict Input Data Type, check if this is a mandatory field or not, enter a minimum, maximum, or exact length for the field. In the Sizing Info tab, you can control the sizing of the field for mobiles, tablets, and desktops. Also, you can control the offset space around the field

9- After adding custom fields for Spouse First Name, Spouse Last Name in the same row, We added a new row with three columns for Spouse Date of Birth, Phone, and Email. Here is how the Lead Custom Fields Designer will look after creating those fields.

10- Once you finalize adding all custom fields you desire, make sure to click on the Save Changes blue button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

If you don’t click the Save Changes button, you will lose all the changes you made. Make sure not to close the Designer page before clicking on the Save Changes button.

Now each time to edit a lead, you can fill the custom fields for that lead.

1- Open a lead from the lead management dashboard, then Click on Lead Actions on the upper right corner, then click on Update Lead
